**New!  ISM and Lausanne Collegiate School Focus on the 21st Century School During the Adaptive Learning Symposium at the Lausanne Laptop Institute (Register for this symposium under "optional items" - no additional fee!)

Independent School Management, Inc. (ISM) and the Lausanne Laptop Institute have joined forces to bring together leading educators and technologists who are in the epicenter of real pedagogic change in education. Focusing on the 21st Century School concept, ISM is sponsoring the Adaptive Learning Symposium at The Laptop Institute’s annual conference in Memphis, TN, July 18-20, 2010.

Teachers, technology integrationists, technology support specialists, and administrators are invited to this discussion, which will address how the teacher’s role will change from primary transmitter of knowledge to that of coach and mentor as adaptive technology partners with the teacher in customizing learning for each student. The goal is to connect educators who are interested in, or already using, an adaptive learning approach with the technologists behind the tools.

The Adaptive Learning Symposium includes four sessions: (click here for detailed descriptions of the following sessions)
